What is it?
MGM Rewards Racetrack Trivia combined fast-paced, digitally-controlled slot car racing with MGM Resorts-themed trivia, engaging attendees in a competitive, interactive challenge. Custom F1-inspired cars raced around a sensor-equipped track, with each player’s speed determined by how swiftly they answered trivia questions about iconic Las Vegas properties.
Developer
Created the frontend app and API enabling synchronized trivia gameplay, dynamic leaderboard updates, and control of the racing experience.
Engineer
Designed, built, and integrated microcontroller-based electronics, sensors, and relay systems to automate and control slot car movements.
